Lipid 11

Cationic Lipid

Lipid 11 is a cationic lipid designed for efficient nucleic acid delivery. It interacts with negatively charged nucleic acids, such as circular DNA, through electrostatic binding mediated by cationic amine groups, facilitating the formation of lipid nanoparticles (LNPs). These complexes can be internalized by cells, allowing for the release of nucleic acids and subsequent biological activity. Lipid 11 shows potential in the development of gene therapy delivery systems, making it a valuable tool for research in this area.
