Lipid C2

LNP

Lipid C2 is an ionizable cationic lipid designed for the formation of lipid nanoparticles (LNP) utilized in mRNA delivery. These LNPs efficiently target the liver and spleen in vivo, enhancing gene expression while sparing other vital organs. In a CT26 murine model of Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) infection, LNPs containing Lipid C2 and mRNA encoding the EBV latent membrane protein 2 (LMP-2), when used alongside an anti-PD-1 antibody, demonstrated significant tumor suppression, reduced T cell exhaustion, and increased populations of memory T cells. This makes Lipid C2 a valuable tool for innovative therapeutic strategies in cancer immunology.
