Lipid TD5
Cationic Lipid
Lipid TD5 is an ionizable cationic lipid with a pKa of 7.3, primarily utilized for the formation of lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) for mRNA delivery in both in vitro and in vivo settings. The LNPs generated with Lipid TD5 demonstrate the ability to be internalized via endocytosis reliant on the 5-HT receptor subtype 1A in primary mouse astrocytes. This unique mechanism enhances its utility in gene therapy research and development applications.
