LMP2A (426-434)

IFN-γ Inducer

LMP2A (426-434) is an HLA-A2-restricted cytotoxic T lymphocyte (CTL) epitope derived from the Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) latent membrane protein 2A. This peptide is capable of inducing a robust interferon-gamma (IFN-γ) secretion response in individuals with various HLA-A*02 subtypes, leading to the activation and expansion of CD8+ IFN-γ+ T cells. LMP2A (426-434) specifically engages CTLs to target and eliminate cells expressing LMP2A, making it a valuable tool for investigating EBV-associated malignancies, including Hodgkin's disease and nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
