Losoxantrone

Antitumour Agent

Losoxantrone is a DNA-binding agent with broad-spectrum antitumour activity. It interacts with DNA to exhibit cytotoxic effects on rapidly dividing cancer cells. Additionally, Losoxantrone has been shown to induce dose-dependent leukopenia, making it relevant for studies on myelosuppression and its implications in cancer therapy. This compound is primarily utilized in research involving antitumour strategies and the evaluation of hematological side effects associated with cancer treatments.
