PROT Inhibitor
LP-403812 is a potent inhibitor of the proline transporter (PROT), exhibiting dose-dependent inhibition of human PROT (hPROT) with an IC50 of 0.11 μM and a Ki of 0.12 μM. It similarly inhibits the mouse brain synaptosomal mPROT with comparable effectiveness (IC50=0.23 μM). This compound serves as a valuable tool for investigating the role of proline transport in brain function and related neurological studies.
