Lumiflavin

Rboflavine Analog

Lumiflavin, a riboflavin analog, functions primarily by inhibiting riboflavin uptake. This compound has demonstrated the ability to significantly decrease riboflavin enrichment in cancer stem-like cells (CSCs), while also enhancing the sensitivity of these cells to cisplatin (Diamminedichloroplatinum, DDP). Its unique mechanisms make Lumiflavin a valuable tool for research focused on ovarian cancer and the study of CSC biology.
