Membrane-disrupting Agent

MAF-10L is a membrane-disrupting agent that functions as a cationic amphipathic derivative of Mastoparan AF, exhibiting enhanced α-helicity. This compound preferentially interacts with DOPS lipids in cancer cell membranes, leading to membrane disruption and subsequent leakage. MAF-10L is primarily utilized in cancer research to explore mechanisms of cellular membrane integrity and apoptosis.
