Magmas Inhibitor
Magmas-IN-1 is a small molecule inhibitor targeting the Magmas protein, which is a key player in granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor (GM-CSF) signaling and is associated with mitochondrial function in myeloid cells. By inhibiting Magmas, this compound modulates mitochondrial dynamics and has been shown to reduce proliferation in yeast models at a concentration of 4 μM. This reagent is valuable for research applications focused on cellular signaling pathways and mitochondrial function.
