MASM7
Mitofusin Activator
MASM7 is a potent mitofusin activator that facilitates mitochondrial fusion through the direct activation of mitofusins, particularly MFN2. It exhibits a concentration-dependent increase in mitochondrial interleukin-1 receptor (Mito AR) with an EC50 of 75 nM in mouse embryonic fibroblasts (MEFs). Additionally, MASM7 demonstrates direct binding to the HR2 domain of MFN2 with a dissociation constant (Kd) of 1.1 μM, making it a valuable tool for studying mitochondrial dynamics and associated metabolic pathways.
