FOXC2 Inhibitor
MC-1-F2 is a potent inhibitor of FOXC2, demonstrating a binding affinity (Kd) of 26 μM for the full-length protein. This compound effectively attenuates markers associated with epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) in breast cancer cells, while also inhibiting cancer stem cell (CSC) characteristics and reducing invasiveness in castration-resistant prostate cancer (CRPC) cells. MC-1-F2 serves as a valuable tool for investigating the roles of FOXC2 in the pathology of breast cancer and CRPC.
