Metacetamol

Acetaminophen Analog

Metacetamol (AMAP) is an acetaminophen analog that exhibits a non-hepatotoxic profile. This compound is known to elevate glutathione (GSH) levels in primary human hepatocytes (PHH) while inducing mitochondrial damage. Additionally, Metacetamol has been shown to increase total JNK levels in PHH, making it relevant for research applications involving oxidative stress and mitochondrial function studies.
