Methionylserine

ACE Inhibitor

Methionylserine is a dipeptide composed of methionine and serine, functioning as an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor. This compound exhibits a significant ability to inhibit ACE enzyme activity, making it valuable for the study of hypertension. Additionally, Methionylserine is translocated via the intestinal di/tri-peptide transporter 1 (hPEPT1) with a Km value of 0.2 mM, which enhances its potential applications in pharmacological research.
