MeV Inhibitor

MeV-IN-1 is a selective inhibitor of Measles virus (MeV) entry, exhibiting an IC50 of 100 µM and a notable IC50 of 55 µM against live MeV-Edm. It effectively inhibits the formation of infectious centers while demonstrating minimal cytotoxicity in treated cells. MeV-IN-1 disrupts R18 redistribution in cells expressing MV-H and MV-F proteins, thereby preventing membrane fusion and viral entry. This compound is valuable for studying MeV pathogenesis and developing antiviral strategies.
