MGAT2-IN-5
mGAT2 Inhibitor
MGAT2-IN-5 is a selective inhibitor of mouse GABA transporter 2 (mGAT2) with an IC50 of 45 μM. This compound demonstrates anticonvulsive activity, effectively reducing seizures in the audiogenic seizure (AGS) susceptible Frings mouse model with an ED50 of 20.4 mg/kg. MGAT2-IN-5 serves as a valuable tool for studying GABAergic signaling and its implications in seizure disorders.
