MI-1851

Furin Inhibitor

MI-1851 is a potent inhibitor of furin, a subtilisin-like proprotein convertase. This compound effectively prevents the proteolytic processing of the spike protein of SARS-CoV-2 in HEK293 cells, thereby disrupting viral entry and replication. MI-1851 demonstrates significant antiviral activity, making it a valuable tool for research on viral pathogenesis and the development of therapeutic strategies against SARS-CoV-2.
