Microcolin H

PITPα/β Ligand

Microcolin H is a marine lipopeptide that acts as a ligand for phosphatidylinositol transfer protein α and β (PITPα/β). It promotes the conversion of LC3I to LC3II while decreasing p62 levels in cancer cells, which enhances autophagic cell death. Additionally, Microcolin H demonstrates significant anti-proliferative effects and effectively inhibits tumor growth in nude mouse subcutaneous tumor models, making it valuable for research in cancer biology and autophagy pathways.
