Mioflazine

Nucleoside Transport Inhibitor

Mioflazine is an orally active nucleoside transport inhibitor, primarily targeting nucleoside uptake mechanisms. It demonstrates significant cardiac protective properties, improving survival rates following global cardiac ischemia. Additionally, Mioflazine is noted for its sleep-enhancing effects and does not exert inotropic effects during administration. This compound is valuable for research in cardioprotective therapies and the modulation of sleep patterns.
