Mitoquinol

Antioxidant

Mitoquinol is a mitochondria-targeted antioxidant that plays a crucial role in regulating mitochondrial respiration and reducing oxidative stress. By inhibiting reactive oxygen species (ROS) production, Mitoquinol enhances phagocytosis and glycolysis in ethanol-exposed macrophages through the modulation of the HIF-1α-PFKP axis. Furthermore, Mitoquinol has demonstrated the ability to mitigate heat stress-induced reductions in growth performance, inflammatory responses, and metabolic disorders in swine models, making it valuable for studies in cellular metabolism and stress responses.
