ML318 is a biaryl nitrile that functions as an inhibitor of PvdQ acylase, exhibiting an IC50 of 20 nM through binding to the acyl-binding site. This compound demonstrates significant antibacterial activity against Pseudomonas aeruginosa (PAO1) with an IC50 of 19 μM.
