ML328
RecBCD Inhibitor
ML328 is a selective inhibitor of bacterial AddAB and RecBCD helicase-nucleases, displaying IC50 values of 26 μM and 5.1 μM, respectively. This compound also acts as a gyrase inhibitor and significantly impairs the growth of Escherichia coli in the presence of phage. ML328 has applications in the study of bacterial infections and the mechanisms of helicase-nuclease function.
