ML372

SMN Modulator

ML372 is a small molecule SMN modulator that inhibits the ubiquitination of survival motor neuron (SMN) protein, leading to enhanced SMN protein stability without altering mRNA levels. It has demonstrated efficacy in improving spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) models in mice. Additionally, ML372 exhibits good brain penetrance and maintains a favorable pharmacokinetic profile, including reasonable exposure and half-life in vivo, making it a valuable tool for research in SMA therapies.
