ErbB2/ErbB3 Fusion Protein

MM-111 is a bispecific antibody fusion protein that targets the ErbB2/ErbB3 oncogenic unit. It effectively inhibits the activation of the PI3K pro-survival pathway by specifically binding to the ErbB2 receptor, directing the bispecific molecule to ErbB2-overexpressing tumor cells. The anti-ErbB3 arm of MM-111 subsequently obstructs ErbB3 signaling by preventing the binding of its physiological ligand, heregulin. This reagent is valuable for research investigating the role of ErbB2 in breast tumors characterized by ErbB2 overexpression.
