Moenomycin complex
PBP Inhibitor
Moenomycin complex is a potent inhibitor of penicillin-binding proteins (PBPs), exhibiting a Kd range of 94 nM to 1690 nM against different bacterial PBPs. By obstructing the transglycosylase activity of class A PBPs, Moenomycin complex effectively inhibits bacterial growth. This compound is primarily employed in research focused on bacterial infections and the development of new antibacterial strategies.
