Mogroside II B

Cucurbitane-Type Glycoside

Mogroside II B is a cucurbitane-type glycoside known for its sweet taste in aqueous solutions. It effectively inhibits the activation of Epstein-Barr virus early antigen (EBV-EA) induced by Phorbol 12-myristate 13-acetate (TPA), making it valuable for virology research. Additionally, Mogroside II B demonstrates weak inhibitory effects on the activation of nitric oxide (NO) donor NOR1, suggesting potential applications in studies related to nitric oxide pathways.
