Discription | Monastrol is a potent, cell permeable non-tubulin-interacting mitosis inhibitor. Monastrol blocks mitosis (IC5N/A = 14 μM) by binding to the mitotic kinesin Eg5, a motor protein required for spindle bipolarity. | ||
