mono-Pal-MTO

siRNA-delivered Nanoparticle

Mono-Pal-MTO is a lipid-based compound designed for the effective delivery of siRNA through nanoparticle formulation. This palm oil-derived lipid combines the anticancer drug mitoxantrone (MTO) with palmitoleic acid, enhancing its potential for targeted cancer therapies. When used in conjunction with di-Pal-MTO at a 1:1 molar ratio, mono-Pal-MTO significantly improves siRNA cellular uptake and exhibits enhanced anticancer activity, making it a valuable tool for research in gene silencing and cancer treatment applications.
