Monoolein

Biological Lipid

Monoolein is a biocompatible lipid that serves as a carrier in bone repair applications. It demonstrates anti-inflammatory properties by inhibiting the immune response triggered by lipopolysaccharides (LPS), significantly lowering the levels of immune response factors such as IL-12 p40, IL-6, and TNF-α, as well as reducing nitric oxide (NO) production. Monoolein is valuable in drug delivery systems and serves as a research tool in studies related to inflammatory diseases.
