Mopidralazine hydrochloride

Antihypertensive Agent

Mopidralazine hydrochloride is an orally active antihypertensive agent that primarily targets the regulation of blood pressure. It has been shown to significantly reduce systolic blood pressure in spontaneously hypertensive rat models, with an ED50 value of 1.94 mg/kg. Notably, Mopidralazine hydrochloride exhibits a slower onset of action along with a longer duration, while minimally affecting heart rate in canine models of renal hypertension. This compound is valuable for research applications focused on hypertension and cardiovascular physiology.
