Moricizine Hydrochloride

Antiarrhythmic Agent

Moricizine Hydrochloride is an orally active Class I antiarrhythmic agent that primarily targets cardiac ion channels. It reduces the maximum rate of phase 0 depolarization while enhancing phase 2 and 3 repolarization rates. This compound effectively decreases action potential duration and lowers the effective refractory period, making it valuable for research in cardiac arrhythmias and electrophysiology.
