MPO Inhibitor

MPO-IN-9 is a selective myeloperoxidase (MPO) inhibitor, exhibiting an IC50 of 3.9 nM. This compound effectively inhibits MPO-mediated reactive oxygen species (ROS) production and protects nitric oxide-dependent vascular functions by disrupting MPO's chlorination and peroxidation cycles. MPO-IN-9 is valuable for researching conditions such as chronic kidney disease (CKD) and non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH).
