MT-110
NMIIB Inhibitor
MT-110 is a selective inhibitor of non-muscle myosin NMIIB, demonstrating high brain penetration and a favorable safety profile. This compound specifically disrupts NMIIB-dependent actin dynamics within dendritic spines, while sparing cardiac myosin II and associated cardiac functions. A single administration of MT-110 leads to a prolonged blockade of methamphetamine motivation triggered by environmental cues, without affecting cocaine motivation or key behavioral aspects such as memory and locomotion. MT-110 is an essential tool for research into the mechanisms underlying methamphetamine use disorder.
