MT-125 free base
NMII inhibitor
MT-125 free base is a selective inhibitor of non-muscle myosin IIA and IIB, demonstrating a Ki value of 2.7 μM for NMIIA and an EC50 of 1.7 μM for IIB. This compound is capable of crossing the blood-brain barrier, making it particularly relevant for central nervous system research. MT-125 free base promotes ferroptosis and induces DNA damage in tumor cells through the elevation of reactive oxygen species (ROS). Its ability to enhance PDGFR signaling allows for its application in studies focused on glioblastoma and related malignancies.
