MX-68

Antifolate

MX-68 is an orally active antifolate that targets folate metabolism. It has demonstrated the ability to prolong the lifespan of MRL/lpr mice, delay the onset of proteinuria, and inhibit increases in serum blood urea nitrogen and cholesterol levels. Additionally, MX-68 exhibits significant antiproliferative effects on rheumatoid arthritis-associated cells and effectively reduces arthritis symptoms in rat models. This compound is valuable for research in autoimmune diseases, particularly autoimmune kidney disease and rheumatoid arthritis.
