MyD88 Inhibitor

MyD88-IN-4 is a potent inhibitor of MyD88, a critical adapter protein in the innate immune signaling pathway. This compound enhances the production of interferon-beta (IFN-β) while simultaneously reducing pro-inflammatory cytokine levels, thus demonstrating antiviral and anti-inflammatory properties. MyD88-IN-4 effectively hinders MyD88 homodimer formation and its subsequent interactions with IRF3 and IRF7. It exhibits significant efficacy against encephalitic alphavirus infections, particularly in reducing viral replication and improving survival rates in VEEV TC-83-infected mouse models. This reagent is valuable for research focused on alphavirus infections, bacterial toxin-related diseases, and sepsis.
