N-Acetyl-L-arginine

IVIG Aggregation Suppressor

N-Acetyl-L-arginine is an acetylated form of the amino acid L-arginine that acts as an aggregation suppressor for intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG) preparations. It effectively reduces the aggregation of IVIG while maintaining a minimal impact on transition temperatures. Additionally, N-Acetyl-L-arginine significantly lowers IL-1 expression when combined with silicone oil, and it exhibits colloidal stability, making it a valuable reagent for research in immunology and therapeutic formulation development.
