N-Acetyl-L-tyrosine

FoxO/Keap1 Activator

N-Acetyl-L-tyrosine is an activator of the FoxO and Keap1 pathways, functioning as an endogenous regulator of mitochondrial stress response. It promotes the generation of low-level reactive oxygen species (ROS) through transient disruption of mitochondrial membrane potential, subsequently enhancing the expression of antioxidant enzyme genes and providing cytoprotective effects. N-Acetyl-L-tyrosine is useful in research applications addressing aging, metabolic disorders such as diabetes, and cancer, as it improves heat stress tolerance and inhibits tumor growth while regulating energy metabolism.
