N-Boc-Biocytin
Biochemical Assay Reagent
N-Boc-Biocytin is a biotin PEG linker that features a carboxylic group and Boc-protected amine. It facilitates the formation of stable, irreversible amide bonds through the reaction of its carboxylic group with primary amines. Upon deprotection of the Boc group under acidic conditions, the resultant free amine can be utilized for subsequent conjugation reactions. This reagent is particularly valuable in biochemical assays and for the development of bioconjugates.
