Lysine Side Chain ɛ-Amino Group Modifier
N-Succinimidyl bromoacetate is a heterobifunctional crosslinking reagent that specifically targets the ɛ-amino group of lysine side chains for modification. This reagent facilitates the covalent attachment of bromoacetyl moieties, enabling the conjugation of peptidomimetics with thiol-modified nanoparticles through stable thioether bonds. Additionally, it can modify carrier proteins to produce soluble peptide-protein conjugates, suitable for applications in protein affinity labeling and immunogen development. N-Succinimidyl bromoacetate is particularly useful in research related to HIV-1 infection and glioblastoma multiforme.
