Aryl Azide

N3-TFBA-O2Oc is an aryl azide click chemistry reagent with a primary focus on the azide functional group. Aryl azides serve as versatile precursors to nitrenes and are effective photoaffinity labeling agents for investigating biological receptors. This compound can facilitate Cu-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition reactions (CuAAc) with alkyne-bearing molecules and can also participate in strain-promoted azide-alkyne cycloaddition (SPAAC) reactions with dibenzocyclooctyne (DBCO) or bicyclononynes (BCN). Applications include photo-crosslinking in estrogen receptor studies and surface modification of carbon and organic polymers.
