NADase

Ectoenzyme/Membrane-bound Enzyme

NADase is an ectoenzyme that specifically targets nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+). This membrane-bound enzyme plays a crucial role in regulating intracellular NAD+ levels through the hydrolysis of NAD+ into nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN) and ADP-ribose. NADase is of significant interest in the study of autoimmune diseases, such as systemic sclerosis and systemic lupus erythematosus, as well as for exploring mechanisms underlying aging-related disorders.
