Naftoxate

Aminomethylsulfate

Naftoxate is an ester compound that targets aminomethylsulfate. It exhibits inhibitory effects on free thiols, resulting in the attenuation of reactive oxygen species (ROS)-sensitive anaerobic bacteria, such as Trichomonas vaginalis. Additionally, Naftoxate effectively inhibits common pathogens associated with vaginal infections, including Candida albicans and Staphylococcus aureus, making it a valuable tool for research in microbiology and infection control.
