Naringenin 4',7-dimethyl ether

Anti-seizure Agent

Naringenin 4',7-dimethyl ether is a derivative of naringenin that acts as an anti-seizure agent. It has been shown to modulate seizure activity, significantly attenuating pentylenetetrazole-induced seizures in larval zebrafish and reducing seizure frequency in the mouse 6-Hz psychomotor seizure model. This compound is valuable for research focused on the mechanisms of epilepsy and potential therapeutic interventions.
