PTPRZ/PTPRG Inhibitor
NAZ2329 is a selective inhibitor targeting the PTPRZ and PTPRG subfamily of receptor-type protein tyrosine phosphatases (RPTPs). With an IC50 of 7.5 µM for hPTPRZ1 and 4.8 µM for hPTPRG, NAZ2329 demonstrates strong allosteric inhibition, preferentially binding to the D1 domain. Its enhanced potency is evident in the PTPRZ-D1 fragment, with an IC50 of 1.1 µM. This compound effectively inhibits glioblastoma cell growth and diminishes stem cell-like characteristics, making it a valuable tool for cancer research and therapeutic development.
