NecroX-7
HMGB1 Inhibitor
NecroX-7 is a potent HMGB1 (high-mobility group box 1) inhibitor with robust free radical scavenging properties. It demonstrates protective effects against ischemia/reperfusion injury by preventing HMGB1 release and reducing the subsequent secretion of pro-inflammatory cytokines such as TNF and IL-6. Additionally, NecroX-7 modulates the expression of TLR-4 and receptors for advanced glycation end products, making it a valuable tool in research related to graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) and acetaminophen toxicity.
