Negundoside

Antioxidant/apoptosis Agent

Negundoside is an iridoid glycoside compound known for its antioxidant and apoptosis-modulating properties. This compound demonstrates hepatoprotective effects by reducing reactive oxygen species (ROS), lipid peroxidation, and intracellular calcium ion levels, while preserving mitochondrial membrane potential. Additionally, Negundoside offers neuroprotective benefits, mitigates oxidative stress, and improves behavioral outcomes in models of cerebral infarction. It also exhibits antibacterial and antiparasitic activities, making it a versatile reagent for various biological research applications.
