Artificial Sweetener

Neotame is an artificial sweetener derived from Aspartame, with applications in flavor enhancement and low-caloric food products. It demonstrates high-intensity sweetness, being 7,000 to 13,000 times sweeter than sucrose. Additionally, at elevated concentrations, Neotame has been shown to induce apoptosis in Caco-2 cells, highlighting its potential for research in cell biology and toxicology.
