Nesosteine

Bronchitis Inhibitor

Nesosteine is a bronchitis inhibitor that enhances the rheological properties and production of airway bronchial mucus. Research indicates that Nesosteine significantly decreases the viscosity of bronchial mucus in models of sulfuric acid-induced bronchitis while promoting increased mucus production in healthy subjects. It also reduces the total protein content of airway mucus, including key components such as albumin and various mucins. This compound holds potential for applications in respiratory research and therapeutic development for bronchial disorders.
