Nitrochin

Chemical Carcinogen

Nitrochin (4-NQO) is a chemical carcinogen that primarily targets esophageal cells. It has been shown to induce the expression of oncostatin-M (OSM) and is associated with DNA damage. Additionally, Nitrochin promotes apoptosis through a p53-dependent mitochondrial signaling pathway, making it a valuable tool for research on cancer biology and cellular responses to genotoxic stress.
