Nitroparacetamol

NO Donor-NSAID

Nitroparacetamol is a nitric oxide (NO) donor and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agent (NO-NSAID) designed to enhance the analgesic properties of Acetaminophen through ester linkage with Nitrooxybutyroyl. It exhibits a broad analgesic spectrum effective against various painful conditions while offering organ-protective benefits, specifically reducing hepatotoxicity. Nitroparacetamol modulates inflammatory responses by decreasing the expression levels of key cytokines and enzymes, including IL-1β, TNF-α, COX-2, and iNOS, making it a valuable tool for research in pain management and inflammation biology.
